A nation of plushies
Perhaps Sabia and Verona's most unique feature as a micronation is the recognition of plush toys (plushies, stuffed animals, etc.) as sentient citizens. Plushies' rights are enshired in the Constitution, and today plush toys make up to 90% of Sabia and Verona's population.
Sabia and Verona's plush-loving tradition originated in another micronation across the world: Juclandia. Sabia and Verona was initially founded as a Juclandian territory in 2012, and remained as such for many years. Nowadays the two nations have parted ways, but they remain close allies as they share a common past and culture. Both Sabia and Verona and Juclandia are members of the FUJL, and have signed the Alios Agreement acknowledging the special relationship both nations have with each other.
