The Juclandian era

The Juclandian era was the larval stage of Sabia and Verona's development. The Kingdom of Sabia and Verona was originally created in 2012 as an overseas territory of Juclandia, a Romania-based micronation founded by King Ciprian, who is credited as the intellectual author of plush toy micronationalism.

From its foundation up until 2014, Sabia and Verona's citizens were subjects to the Juclandian Crown. During these early days, the region experimented with its first attempts at forming a culture of its own; the Sabian language, as well as other conlangs, were developed during this era, and most of the sauciest political intrigue took place during the tumultuous days of Juclandian era-Sabia and Verona.

Despite no longer being subjected to Juclandia, Sabia and Verona remains more than just a strategic ally to the Romanian micronation. Institutionally speaking, Juclandia and Sabia and Verona are still joint members of the Federal Union of Juclandian Lands, which was reformed in 2016 by the Alios Agreement into a cultural and economic union of free micronations sharing a common cultural heritage.

In a sense, SiV is Juclandia's younger sibling. The unique plush-loving idiosyncrasy of Juclandia is indissoluble from Sabia and Verona's DNA, and even today Valtirians hail King Ciprian as the Liberator of Plushies, the First King, and founding father.

Juclandia, also called the Juclandian Pragma or the Juclandian Republic (Romanian: Republica Juclandeză), is the first known micronation originating from Romania and a member state of the Federal Union of Juclandian Lands, alongside Sabia and Verona. It is a landlocked country situated in the northern part of the Wallachian Plain, surrounded by the Romanian county of Prahova.

Claiming an area of 1,643 square meters and a population of 181, Juclandia is a medium-sized micronation. Its capital and largest city is Jucărești, with about one hundred inhabitants. A unique aspect of Juclandia is its claiming of plush toys as citizens alongside humans.

Juclandia II is a parliamentary republic with a unitary system of governance. Unlike in most other countries, power in Juclandia is divided between a state power and a sovereign power. The Great National Assembly is considered the sovereign power of Juclandia, and it has supreme authority over the Pragma (the nation). The state power is nominally held by the King of Juclandia, but it is exercised by the Royal Government of Juclandia, made up of the Council of State, the Council of Ministers, and the Council of Justice. The human population exercises political power through the Free State of Lenia. The country is divided into municipalities and communes, which currently do not enjoy a significant degree of devolution, as a result of the small size of the country.
